A book update! We are able to tell you that the book is nicely coming along. The book relates to how parents can be involved in developing the learning potential of their children, work along side schools in this endeavour, and focus on talking and listening to their children. John is basing it on a new synthesis of parent research; and is currently road testing some of the chapters with parent groups at the moment.
As I am currently working on my Ed Doc with a focus on principal leadership in positively affecting teacher efficacy, seeing Hattie's most recent findings further solidifies the research I have done to date. The first step for change actually happening in regards to CTE is for teachers and school leaders to understand exactly what efficacy is and how it is developed within a school context. I look forward to how you unpack this for your readers!
